Busy, Busy, Busy

Although we were only at school for 3 days last week it was an action packed week.  On Wednesday we had our Swimming Gala during which all the children who swam did really well.  As usual everyone put in a huge effort and thanks go, to the house captains and the Leisure Centre for organising the event so well.

On Friday P3/4 ran round the village in their Viking costumes and raised over £200 to go towards their Orkney trip this coming week.  Well done!

Finally the week ended with our annual talent show organised by Beth, Catriona and Iona in P7.  We had a huge number of acts all of whom had put in much practice and thought.  Everyone enjoyed watching magic tricks, dancing and listening to musical performances.  The winners were a group of P6 girls with a novel rendition of the ‘cup song’ second ‘The Great Bendini’ and third Laila with a lovely song.  Well done to all!

The nursery also had a visit from Donna our Oral Health educator who showed them how to brush their teeth.  Sid the snake says ‘keep those fillings away!’
