Plastic Straw Campaign Success

We have been run off our feet today due to the success of our plastic straw campaign!  Yesterday the last business in Ullapool agreed to stop using plastic straws thus making Ullapool the first plastic straw free village in Scotland and possibly the UK.  A huge well done to all the pupils who have campaigned tirelessly and to the businesses who have listened to them.  As a result STV Grampian visited us today and there will be an item on the STV 6pm news tonight.  There is already a news item on the BBC Scotland website follow this link

and the Press and Journal are putting something into the paper tomorrow!

Please spread the word as we are very proud of the pupils and feel that the future is safe in their hands.
